We’ll be picked up at HTN Trichy and cover the famous sightseeing places of Trichy. First, we’ll be visiting Thiruvanaikaval Arulmigu Jambukeswarar Akilandeswari Temple (one of the Pancha Bootha Sthalas representing water element) and proceed to visit the majestic Srirangam Arulmigu Ranganathaswamy temple. Then we’ll be paying a visit to Samayapuram Mariamman Temple, and the grand Akkaraipatti Then (South) Shirdi Saibaba Temple. After having lunch enroute at Gowri Parvathi Bhavan, we’ll be heading towards Kallanai dam and finally visit the famous Rockfort Pillayar temple. We’ll halt for the day at HTN Trichy.

Post breakfast and check-out at HTN Trichy, we’ll start towards Thanjavur- the once capital of the Cholas. There we’ll be paying a visit to the marvelous Big Temple- the UNESCO World Heritage Site, followed by the Thanjavur Palace and art gallery and the nearby Saraswathi Mahal Library that holds numerous manuscripts from various eras. We’ll then halt for the day at HTN Thanjavur.

Post breakfast, we’ll first be visiting Gangaikonda Cholapuram of Ariyalur- another UNESCO World Heritage Site and an architectural marvel like the Thanjai Peruvudaiyar Koil. Then we’ll be travelling to Chidambaram and visit the renowned Natarajar Temple (one of the Pancha Bootha Sthalas representing sky element). Post darshan, we’ll proceed to take a leisurely boating ride across the enchanting Pichavaram backwaters and the mangrove forest (the 2nd largest in the world). Finally, we’ll return back to Trichy and get dropped at HTN Trichy.
